Which frisbee is right for you?
Which frisbee suits the park and casual games?

For throwing and catching together, choose a flying disc designed for games of catch. Look for a comfortable rim and a size that the people playing can handle easily.

When starting out, controlled throws that are easy to catch matter more than maximum distance. Begin close together and increase the distance as your throwing and catching become more consistent.

Our tip: Choose a frisbee for the people using it. Smaller or lighter models may be more comfortable for children. Check the individual product description for suitability.

When should you choose an Ultimate frisbee?

Ultimate discs are designed for throwing and catching in a team sport. They are suitable for practising together and developing different throwing techniques.

An Ultimate frisbee can also be a good choice for active recreational games. If you are buying for a team or competition, check the requirements for the disc model and any necessary approval.

For training together: Using the same disc model gives you consistent practice conditions and helps you develop a familiar feel for its grip and flight.

Which frisbee is designed for dogs?

For playing with your dog, choose a purpose-built dog frisbee. Its size, weight and material should suit your dog and the intended activity.

Flexibility and durability vary between models. A durable disc is not necessarily indestructible. Check it regularly for damage and follow the manufacturer’s instructions for use.

When choosing: Dog frisbees are designed for interactive play with your dog. Ordinary disc golf discs are not a suitable alternative.

What are Double Disc Court discs used for?

Double Disc Court, or DDC, is a flying disc sport played with two discs simultaneously. Dedicated DDC discs are designed for this particular game.

If you want to play or practise DDC, choose a disc intended for that sport. Before ordering, check whether the product includes a single disc or a set.

Frisbee or disc golf disc — which do you need?

“Frisbee” is commonly used as a general term for flying discs. When choosing one, focus on its intended use: do you want to catch it, use it in a team sport or throw it into a disc golf basket?

Disc golf uses putters, midranges and drivers with different flight characteristics. For games of catch, choose a purpose-built catch disc or Ultimate disc.
